We’re Giving Them Away . . .
The extra copies of the inaugural winter issue of Jacobin that is. And by “we’re giving them away,” we mean we’re charging a nominal fee for them — sorry for the catch, it’s a neat little trick we learned from car salesmen and the other commendable doyens of late capitalist society. The charge is mostly for shipping, but also partly to subsidize the ridiculous UV coating we drench our front covers in.
The spring issue will be in subscribers’ hands and on newsstands in rapidly gentrifying urban areas in a little more than a month’s time, but for those tentative about committing to a year-long, four-issue relationship with us, we offer this casual encounter:
